New England Corvette Shows/Events 2006

Those of us in New England are already very anxious to hear about upcoming shows...must be our long, cold winters!!:)

I'll be attending a meeting on February 12 in New Hampshire of all New England Corvette clubs. This meeting is held each year to share information on shows and events being held in our 6-state region.

Look for a list of all these shows -- I'll be listing them as soon as I return from that meeting. It will help us get through the rest of this winter!!:)

Thanks Elaine. It really is getting to be a long one despite the spring-like weather we've had recently. I saw three corvettes, and a '60's vintage Mach 1 on the road today! -John

I also saw a few cars out that I don't normally see this time of year including a beautiful blue late 70s vette that was clearly beefier under the hood than original, the first wave given and received since before Thanksgiving. It's hard to complain about the winter so far but having my toy stored in the next town had kept me from taking a mid-winter joy ride--until yesterday and only because I am driving a loaner car while my daily ride is in the shop for electronic gremlins. Is it just my imagination or are modern cars so over engineered that when they go haywire no one knows what to do with them? I couldn't take it anymore and I bulled my way through the protests of the cantakerous older gentleman 1/4 of who's garage I rent for the winter and snuck her out. It was such an incredible day that even he had a smile on his face. I'm feeling better now but still have been regularly checking for the '06 schedule. Look's like we'll be seeing it just as pitchers and catchers report to Fort Myers and likely winter let's us know that she was just taunting us. Well, just for old time sake I'm going out and roll out the hose and give her an unexpected mid-winter bath. Looking forward to the schedule Elaine.
