1989 DARK BLU METALIC SIX SPEED CONV
Default MY NEW SIX SPEED

I finally picked up my new Dark Metalic Blue droptop on Friday and took it on a 200 mile drive to Palmdale California: the car performed flawlessly. Thanks to all those that commented, when I was trying to decide to get an automatic or six speed. Luv the shifting.

Thanks again

89 six speed!! They just can't come any better. Now you only have to short circuit the shift control function which disables second and third when upshifting....

Good luck with your new car.

We all have our own taste and for those who like their automatic Vettes, more power to them. For me, however, having a Vette with an automatic would be like sleeping with a woman that stayed on her side of the bed.

Enjoy,

Thanks, had the CAGS plug put on before I picked it up. That 1st to 4th stuff was annoying.

I don't worry about the 1st to 4th jump in my '92 because my foots in it ALL the time and I just run it through the gears. My first 'vette was an automatic and I swore I would never make that mistake again. Best of luck and enjoy powershifting!
