Default Lazy eye, no more...

Talking w/ another Callaway Owner, he and I were discussing the lazy eye syndrome that C4's develop over time -
With a quick call to Mid America Motorworks, I was in business for the repair.

The C4's, esp. the later ones have a nylon gear secured by three small bushings - these bushings over time, fail. By fail, I found that upon dissasembly, they were nothing more than powder residue

Part # 601703 will get you in gear however, you will want to order two kits and do both sides at one sitting $4.99 a kit

https://shop.madirect.com/cart?carti...78kCIjz977M0w3

It took about 2 hrs per side and is easiest if you take out the whole headlight assy. (six 10mm bolts) and do the work on a table - I used the kitchen table (thanks SuperNat ) and have a stack of rags handy to cleran up the powder.

The motor now, no longer makes the "run-on" noise after it is fully up, or down and does not get stuck 1/2 way up either now...

A simple fix, for an annoying issue

Come to think of it, it cost as much as standard eye drops!
