Default Remote 6 Disc Changer??

Seems kinda dumb but . . . my dealer told me the Remote 6 Disc Changer isn't even available yet. Why would GM have it their Accessories Brochure if it isn't even available? And I thought this was an option for '05 C6's as will!

With the Nav system, This is nearly a must have item . . . even thou I will have XM!!!

Does anyone know what brand the Bose radio will control?
My C5 was a Pioneer Unit and it was a Remote 12 Disc Changer!

Has anyone purchased/installed one yet?
Does it play MP3's?
Honestly the folks at GM should be drawn and quartered for only putting
one CD on the Nav system.
And then they should be horsedwhipped for not allowing it to play MP3's, what
IDIOT designed this system????
This is 2005 right? Everyone on the planet uses MP3's.....oh I forgot GM dosen't
and then they wonder why their going BROKE!!!!
OK, I'm through Venting my frustration....I feel better now!! LOL!!

I was told by the Parts man I ordered it from that is DOES NOT play MP3's, I also read from someone on one of the forums that there is a UPDATE for the 2005 C6 to make the CD play MP3's, I have contacted GM and my local dealer and no one seems to have a clue of what I'm talking about, so I'm not sure if an update really exists or not, or if the new 6 CD changer plays mp3's or not...if anyone finds out anything about this mess...Please let the rest of us in on it...........Thanks

Talk to my dealer and they stated that they have an Electronics store that has a Stacker that will interface with the GM radio and play mp3's.
Pick mine up next Monday or Tuesday and will find out more then!!

I'll keep you posted!!

Is the unit a GM unit or a 3rd party unit?
I ordered a GM unit from a Dealer in MT. the 6-CD changer, but I'm not sure if it plays MP3's or not.....
