Default Good Service Tech referral in California?

I have a new Z06 and would like to ask a good service technician about 1st gear noise this vehicle exhibits. Locals seem unfamiliar with the new units and I would like to know if anyone can refer me to someone in California with some good knowledge on characteristics of this vehicle. Any information would be greatly appreciated.
