Default Battery hold down question

I need to find a way to secure my battery. It is sitting loose in the battery compartment and I have heard it sliding around when making quick directional changes. I thought it was something with the differential or suspension at first, then found it was the battery slamming the side of the box. The battery is a maintenance free type from Duralast. Looks to be fairly new. I think it has approximately 2 inches or more clearance around all sides.

Suggestions appreciated.

Easy fix: Get the factory battery hold down clamp and bolt if yours is missing. Very inexpensive. All the major vendors have it. For example, check out corvette central part no. 172030. Approx. $5.00. It is common for these to be missing, but they are an essential part if your battery is sliding around--or you can just slow down when taking the corners.

Thanks Geroge.

I'll get the hold down parts.

I thought the brakes were only for stop signs and traffic lights.
