Vortec Head casting numbers

Considering these for our buildup. Are there any performance differences between the various casting numbers?

I am not aware of any performance difference from various casting numbers. Just be aware that vortec heads have weak springs. You may want to replace them. I have had them on my vette for about 2 years with great success. Easy to install but you will need a vortec specific intake manifold.
