Default C6 Shifter "Rattle"

Have a 2006 C6 with 1200 miles, notice that there is shifter "rattle" until the vehicle is up to normal operating temperature........sound familar? An existing quirk or has a TSB been issued? Thanks for the information. David0502

No rattle here, 8,000 miles on strock shifter and now 500miles on B&M shifter.

Default Got it too.........

David,

I have the same problem (unresolved since July). I have the Z51 package and the dealer finally narrowed it down to missing clips on the transmission oil cooler lines running through the tunnel. Will have to have the tunnel cover removed so it's pretty involved. The lines only rattle when the car is cold and may have enough clearance when it gets warm to stop the rattle. Hope this helps.

Mike

Thanks, Mike, that is helpful, have the Z51 package, also. Will advise the dealer of this when taken in for future service.
