Solution: drive it more - a lot more!
It that case, it is probably not a problem.
However, I'd still pull the codes and see just what it thinks is wrong. If you're getting "time out" errors it's probably just sitting too long between drives and the seals are just tight enough to keep the self test from working the first time.
After a few months of this off an on, more off than on; I tried moving the car to see what would happen, usually my service ride control light would go out as soon as it did the self test of the ABS.
