During dissembling CD stereo in my Corvette C4, 1995, automatic, gear indicator dropped somewhere and now I can’t see the gear position.
Does anybody can tell me how fix this problem?
Remove the cover and you will see a rod that protrudes toward the drivers door. There is also a piece that has a slot in it. Be sure to line up the slot over the rod and carefully put cover back in place. That should solve the problem of no shift indicator. I went through the same thing last week when I reinstalled my radio. It only took me 30 min. to figure it out.
