My Corvette(s):
1981 beige
Default interior color question

In 1981, was Cinnibar an option color for the interior with a beige exterior??
My cousin is thinking about buying this ride, but I cautioned him that I did not think Cinnibar was the original color for the interior. (If nothing else it looks like crab with the beige exterior thanks in advance, Jim

Jim,

Ask your cousin or someone with access to the 1981 to check the "Trim Tag"... it's on the driver side door frame on the interior fender panel about even with the dash. It's a small aluminum tag about 3" x 2" or so..

The code for Biege Paint is 50 and the code for Cinnabar interior would be 67C for cloth and 672 for leather

Bud
