I'm no expert but, sawblades started in 91(that much I know) with 9.5'' front and rear. The 1990 vette was a different style for sure. The latter yr.92 and up all had sawblades but the fronts were 8.5''and rears 9.5''. Not sure what yr. started the 8.5''fronts.

My 89 was the first year for the 17 inch Cuisinarts. I beleive previous models with Z51 and 17 inch wheels had a similar wheel with six openings instead of 12. I think if you look in the info part of this forum, once they get the home page back up you can see pictures of all the model years.

'88, '89, and '90 were all specific for their respective years. There is only a small difference between them but if you were to put one next to the other you would see it. The Sawblades started in '91 and went thru '96 as far as I know. I think the Z51 cars had 9.5 inch wheels all around for '92 - '96. Not sure about the earlier years.

Unsure about the finish. I was refering to the actual design. My '90 wheels were clearcoated, and I have a set of '94 (?) sawbaldes that I think are just clearcoated.

The diff between the 89 and the 90 are that the 89 has covers over the lugs and the 90 has exposed lugs. Other than that I can't see a diff.I believe both were coated. The 91 was the sawblade.

Hrtbeat1 Is your 90 still setting in your yard ? if so has the insurance company settled. If your wheels survived I might be intrested in them.

I have two mint 9.5's from a 96 that would be a perfect match if you're interested. Pics are available.
