My Corvette(s):
Bright red '71 Coupe
Default '71 Windshield washer pump not working

Could any of my fellow Vette chums give me some advise on how to get my dried out window washer pump seal (the one around the piston) back in operation again? The pump has not been used for many years hence the shrunk seal I guess.
Question #2, how to remove the drive rod from the piston? It goes into the housing, runs through the pump spring and then attached in some way to the piston. If at all the seal can be replaced, you probable still need to take apart the complete piston/casing/drive rod assembly. Any hints?????
