Question on repairing my AC

I need to change my Evaporator and my filter dryer.Has any done this that can explain what all this entails?Is there a dash remove in this somewhere along the line?Thanks.Oh this is on my 82CE.

I believe the drier and evaporator can be removed from the outside of the car. I think the houseing is held on using studs on the inside and a nut on the outside under the hood. You will need to buy a gasket kit when you put it back together I think. Also, I think you need to remove the coolant expansion tank.

I could be wrong.
