My Corvette(s):
1981 Silver / Dark Blue
Default Need a part

Last rainstorm the drivers windshield wiper went further than normal and stuck there. When I got home I found the part that the arm attaches to was broken. The local dealership said it called the left wiper transmission and is no longer available. Can't find one any where. Any one have a source for one of these?

I went through that. You can't just relace the driverside. I had to replace from where it connects to the wiper motor and over. You can find these items used. I know a guy up here in Canada that has a bunch. Let me know if you can't find one in the US.

Those guys seem to have a ton of parts. I bought from them, and they seemed okay. Fast shipping too.

art's has loads of stuff (and it helps that he is local for me, lol), but if you need something he has, don't think about it too long. the last time i spoke with him he was thinking about either selling out, or just closing up and retiring (if i remember correctly).
