Default Replacement Oil Pans

I obtained an aftermarket chrome oil pan and have hopes of using it as I re-assemble my engine. BUT is it really going to fit in the frame? Is the 81 Corvette oil pan special in any ways?

The chrome one has a deeper, smaller section for the oil pump than the stock 81 oil pan, which is what is causing me to wonder if the chrome one will fit.

Thanks,

Default Update

Need to know what the distance is between the bottom of the oil pan and the ground or garage floor.....can someone make this measurement for me?

The chrome oil pan is about an inch deeper than the stock pan, and need to know if I can live with this.

Thanks in advance.
