Default Oil leak

Have a '92 Corvette Conv.LT1 engine has a small oil leak at front end, am having difficulty determining where leak is coming from, maybe front crankcase seal but not sure. Anyone know if this is a common problem, and is there an easy fix?

It could also be the valley gasket on the intake. It takes some doing but with a good light and maybe a mirror you can see if it is wet right below the intake. Before getting carried away with the front seal you may want to check that.
If the car sat for a long period of time without being started the front seal could dry out and actually wear when it is first started causing it to leak. I wouldn't say that they are a real problem.

Minor oil leaks were/are common on the LT1.
The front and rear intake seals are prime suspects for this. They did on mine.

The other area to check at the front of the engine is the water pump and OptiSpark shaft seals. Real hard to see though.
