Does anyone run the TPIS ZZ409 cam and pass emissions ? Is it neccesary to lift engine to do a cam swap in a 93 ?

Thanks

I'm not sure of the answer to either question, but I would like to know the answer to both. Also, what sort of stuff have you done to your 93?

I have a chambered Allen exhaust, air foil, cut lid and adj. fuel pressure regulator. I am heading to the track on Fri. if it ever stops raining to get some base 1/4 mile times. I hope to add more mods this fall. How about you??

From memory, I thought the ZZ409 cam is designed for a bored/stroked to 409 350 engine.

Do you know if it will work well with a 350?

I called TPIS and they said this cam would work in a 350 but it wouldn't pass CA emissions and the weren't sure about other states. I am from Canada but I don't know if our tests are as tough as CA.
