Default Stereo Wiring question

So i finally got all my parts to do my aftermarket stereo install and am wondering I found a site that tells me which colors are what, but most of my wires are solid with a stripe. Im running all new speaker wires but i would like to use the ground and power wires that my car has already. I know that black is ground. I have a yellow striped red wire which i assume is my power. I just need to know what my accessory wire is so i can get my deck to turn on when i start the car.

Any input on this would be great!

Hey Jimmers what unit are you installing, and how are you going to do it. Pictures would be nice after you get it done.

I finshed it all the other day. I'll take some pics as soon as i get my camera back.

Its a JVC KD-AR3000 HU. I also installed JBL 6x9's in the rear and 4" Pioneers in the front. The mounting kit i used was the only kit i could find for a 90. It installed very easily and i think looks great. http://www.installer-data.com/item/d...php?it=99-3051.
To wire in the HU i got all my information from this site http://forums.corvetteforum.com/show...81&forum_id=20.
If you need wire color information this site covers that http://www.corvetteradios.com./Page.html.

Hopefully those sites answer your questions, if not i'll be glad to answer and questions.

It looks great! Thanks for the links. Did you use the existing Bose speaker housings in the front or did you make some thing up?

I used the exising ones. I just had to drill new holes to screw the new speakers down.
