Windshield Wipers!

my wipers overlap the driverside of the window. another thing that happens is that they turn on perfectly but they will not turn off. What can i do? has anyone had this problem before????

Don't worry, someone will be along with some help on your particular year. Try doing a search on windshield wipers... there have been many questions on them as they tend to be one of the problems that arise a lot. However, if I am correct, the problem is not too difficult to fix on your own.

There is an adjustment procedure in the Helm (factory) manual for the overlap. Mine were knocking and buckling against each other for all the years I owned the car, until I found and followed the simple steps. They didn't get used to often in SoCal.

The shut-off may be in the switch or inside the motor. I've no manual with me, while abroad.

will it say in the helm manual about the shut off you think? i got a whole work shop manual with the car so ill check it out.

if anyone else wants to chip their two cents in by all means please do so.
