C1 Windshield Washer Nozzles

Should the holes on the C1 windshield washer nozzles be on the front or the top? I just bought some replacement ones that have the holes on top but the ones on the car have them in the front?

They have a horizontal "leg" that points toward the center of the car, and the hole in that "leg" for the water faces rearward and points directly at the windshield, as shown in section 109 in the Assembly Manual.

Thanks JohnZ. As I look closely at the piece, I see that the "leg" can be turned and adjusted slightly to face the windshield instead of straight up at the sky as it was shipped.
