Default Dental work on the 59.

Well the old girl has a nice new set of teeth in her mouth. It is the first time in 34 years that she has had a smile! I got the power steering plumbed, fabricated the brackets for the front license plate mount and finished up on the trans cooler lines last weekend. I am still not moving around very good, but it was good to be out in the shop again! With any luck, I will get the rear bumpers mounted this weekend, and get the engine started for the first time.

For a guy who is "not moving around too good" you sure got a heck of allot done. Good luck with the first fire and hope you are feeling well & everything went smooth with the surgery. My front bumpers and grille bar took allot of finessing to get them to where I was finally happy with them.

Those are new repro's from Corvette Specialties. They are beautiful quality and are dead nuts copies of the originals. There is no way that I would ever have a set of originals re-plated as long as ones of this quality were available!

Thanks for posting that John. I put the old teeth in my '59 yesterday but decided the old girl looks so good, she deserves a new smile. I was concerned about the quality of these import parts but based on your recommendation I ordered mine today from Corvette Specialties. They were very helpful on the phone.
Thanks again.
