Default Another Question for the experts

Hello all,

If my '64 does not sell, I have decided to take it to the next level by "correcting" the motor based on a block with the correct date casting.

Here is my question: I know that NCRS allows dates to precede by 6 months, but what is ideal for originality in terms of block date vs build date? I have an April 22 build date on my trim tag.

thanks in advance,

John Milwuakee

The "typical" span between block casting date and car final assembly is ten days to a month or so, with the stamped engine assembly date between the two (the stamped engine assembly date has to be after the casting date of any components and no closer than 4-5 days prior to the car's assembly date).
