Default No radio can play this kind of music

I posted this as a response to a thread in the off road lounge, but I figured that some other members of the Forum might like to hear why the radio in my car is ALWAYS turned off. You might want to turn your speakers up a notch.

Anybody interested in a guess as to what's under this un-assuming small block hood. You might be surprised.

sounds a lot like mine does with my sidepipes also so I'll guess it's the 327/365. It sounds like you have a slightly wilder cam in it though maybe??

no matter what you do have in it, your car looks and sounds great!

as soon as mine comes back from the paint shop I'm going to try to take a video of it also and post it but I think I'll need someone to host the vid for me.

Barry,

I will let it go a day or so before going public on the engine, but this reply is for something else I would like to address. Almost every ISP I know, usually has an allocation for your own personal space on their server. Usually they will allocate about 10 megs, that you can use for your own little web page, or to host your own pictures, and video.

If I were you I would get in touch with them and inquire about the above. If I am correct, they should confirm the total allocated space, and supply you with an address, and password you may use to access the server. It's Worth a try, you are already paying for their services.

regards
Bob

Thanks for your kind words on my car, I just completed the performance upgrade a few days ago, and this shot is it's first sortie, before heading to the alignment shop.

Bob

I have comcast cable as my ISP. They do offer a free personal webpage option but if I read through their info correctly you only get one "page". I actually want to set up a site that's a bit more detailed than a single page so i'm looking for a good place that host webpages that isn't too expensive but that I can set up along the lines that Larry (IH2lose), Ray(61Silver), Bob(67Heaven), etc have done.

In the meantime, perhaps I can set up my Comcast page just as a temporary place to post stuff up until I can figure out a better alternative. I'll have to look into it a little more

As they say " you only wish " .

If it was, it would most certainly make my day. Sadely we will have to wait a little longer for that one.

Thanks for your kind words. The part I am most proud of is not seen in the video, so I am including a shot of it with this response

Lately, I have been noticed that when I am at a stop light, some drivers with whom I share the road, look rather intimidated when they hear the sound, but hey, maby I'm just reading it wrong. Sure is fun though

Very nice interior stepinwolf, I like the red/white combination.

Your engine sounds a lot like mine (383 with 480hp/510lbs torque) = sweet music to the ears.

Barry,

I have Comcast as well and have been able to get my web page with a ton documents and picture on it with no problem. It appears that you can set up 25 mb per email address. I have all of the email addresses set up, though I don't use them and have a ton of space.

Hi Bob

on the comcast pages, can you have more than just a single page? For example, can I set it up so that the main page is like a home page and links from that main page takes you to other pages? Such as pages for info on the car, another page or pages for pictures as I choose to sort and organize them, other pages for other things, etc?

Default Barry, you were right on

I think the above message was for me, so I will respond to Barry's question regarding the engine in this car.

Contrary to what most people think, I am still using a small block in the Corvette. It is a 327/365 that has had the heads slightly massaged, and it is running a killer, roller cam. Other then that, it's basically in it's stock configuration except for the + 30 mil during the rebuild.

The engine is however 100% period, and numbers correct, including all it's components ( with the exception of the MC ) , so here is a pic that is not often seen by most.
