Default Motor due back and....

Well, after waiting several months, and lining up a new series of parts, the motor is due back next week... ....BUT....I have been handed an assignment and will be far far away the next three weeks...home for two maybe four days...then OFF AGAIN for another week, then back two days, and off again for another week....May and June are over for me.... So I have a shop to put it back together for me, I know they will do a good job...expensive, but I really want to get this car back on the road. Wish me luck...you know I can't say much about who, what, when and where, but its for a good cause. Hopefully, most likely I will be able to visit board....but might not be able to post...See ya all when I get back....

I had to travel a lot at my last job - covered 7 states in my sales territory. There were many months that I was away a LOT more than I was home.
I miss the income from that job, but sure do NOT miss the job at all!

Yup, business travel isn't what it's cracked up to be (especially these days); in my last five years before I retired from Chrysler, 99% of my travel was day-trips to plants and back on company (Gulfstream) G-3's and G-4's from our private terminal (no commercial airline hassle) and I was usually home for dinner. If I had to do that kind of traveling by commercial airlines, I'd have found another line of work
