Thanks! Nova & I are trying like heck to not have to get real jobs. She's tired of being under-paid, and I'm tired of getting laid off!

I could see her drinking the vodka, but Budweiser and Marlboros? She just doesn't fit the image. Next thing ya know you'll have her pluggin' smokeless tobacco and spittin'. :L

Naw she doesn't smoke, and she's too young to drink legally. We were setting up a few ideas for a poster shoot.



A funny thing happened right after that shot--I had excused myself to go behind a tree for a moment:

When I was walking back toward her, her eyes got big and round and she said, 'Oh my God! What's that behind you?!'

I kept walking toward her and said, 'Nova, what's behind me?'

She said, 'It's really big and it's following you!'

At this point she started backing away as fast as she could. Me, I kept walking as fast as I could toward the car.; I swear I thought there was a bear or something behind me. I said, 'Nova, how big is it?'

'It comes up to your shoulders at least!'

'Nova, is it a bear or a boar?' We were in the middle of nowhere and there are bears and wild boar around where we were.

'No, it's really weird and ugly looking and it's gaining on you!'

Okay, now I'm thinking a space alien or something...

It really started to worry when she covered her eyes; like she didn't want to see me get eaten alive or mawed to death.

I hadn't looked around before because if it were a bear, I didn't want to make any sudden moves and touch off an attack. But now I thought I had to. So I turned and looked down into the eyes of the biggest wild turkey I had ever seen. Darn thing was so close it could have bit my butt.

However, the minute I looked at it, it shot back into the woods.

I swore to Nova all the rest of the day that I hadn't seen a thing and I thought she was just teasing me...
