I hope my 89 runs half that good!! Love the burnouts. Am ordering a K&N open lid filter tomorrow, maybe cutting the MASS screen (I read that only the outer one should be eliminated). Any thoughts, advice, on that? Was lookin real hard at an ACCEL miniram, but wonder if it would help at all w/out head work, cam upgrade. It is a "buy it now" for $1029-good price, or not, anyone? Also have a set or Comp roller-tip rockers from another engine, which brings up the question of pushrods. I know it will have to have hardened guide plates, but what about the original pushrods? They should be replaced because the rockers are used, no? Any and all help appreciated. Keep the videos comin, Mic.

for a piece of mind change the pushrods but then again a stock TPI don't turn enough RPM to hurt them so this is upto you.

i cut both screens out of my MAF and have had no problem :D

never seen an ACCEL mini ram so i could not tell you. make sure it comes with the fuel rails. i am thinking you mean ACCEL Big Mouth base, ACCEL runners, ported plenum like what TPiS sells? didn't kow ACCEL made runners? got a pic? any improvement to the stock TPI will make more HP. get a set of Headers as this is your best bolt on besides cam heads and intake..

razor blade and a pair of pliers to pull up and get the small pieces out.

I have seriously been thinking of doing this, I know I wont see hardly any improvements, and the fact of messing up the MAF and being out that much money has been holding me back from doing it...
