My Corvette(s):
Default 1986 Sport lamps won't work.

I just changed all of my rear bulbs and now the sportlamps won't
come on with the first click on the headlamp switch. The rears aren't
on either. When you pull the switch all the way out the headlights flip
around and taillights also come on as usual. I'm wondering if it is the headlight switch or is there a relay somewhere that could have blown? It is puzzling how changing bulbs could have any effect on the sportlamps but???
Anybody ever heard of this?
Thanks!!!

I was chasing a bulb gremlin last night on my 88. When you say "sportlamps" I assume you mean the front foglamps? Pulling the headlamp switch one notch turns on the running,turn signal lamps. The fogs have their own dash mounted switch. At least on the 88 it does.

Try turning on the headlights, click the high beam indicator to low and then see if the foglights come on. They are setup NOT to work when using the highbeams.

If your talking about driving lights, they have their own switch, maybe it's off. I can upload the diagnostics and schematics if you need help.
