03' passenger window won't operate
I tried to lower my passenger window today and it will not operate.
I can hear the relay in the door when i press up or down, but the motor does not engage. I checked all the fuses and everything is ok. Anyone else had this problem?
Gus

HI there,
Most likely the window motor or the door control module.
However, correct diagnosis will be the key.

Hi Gus,
I have had the same problem on my 99 coupe.
Sometimes the motor is blocked. Therefore my mechanic did a few hits with his fist onto the door trim.
Since then the window works correctly.
Hope this helps

Well I've tried hitting the door panel etc etc...
Still not working. I have an appointment with the local chev dealer tomorrow.
Guess we'll find out.
Thanks for all the good tips.
Gus

Well this Monday 2/28 I'll have a new regulator installed at the dealer.
I'll be happy to have this behind me!

Fonzi...The Fonz... From the TV show Happy Days. He would punch the juke box and a song would play. He could punch a car (or anything that wasn't working) and fix it.

Markus,
The show "Happy Days" was a 1970's sitcom. I think it ended some time in the early 80's. (You can tell that pic of the cast was taken a LONG time ago- Ron Howard still had hair. )
I'm suprised you haven't heard of the show before. When it was on, it was a very popular show all over the world. Kids would go around imitating the Fonz, say "Heeeeeeeeey," and giving the thumbs up to something that was cool.
In any event, I guess this thread has gotten a little off track.

The Internet is great for sharing this sort of trivia.
Look at this site for Happy Days information in German:
