Default Puddles kill my distributor

Any suggestions for a mod to keep the water out of my distributor? Mid 90s vettes, camaros and birds have had this problem with that plastic yellow friggin' distributor. HELP! 728 hp means nothing without spark. I've heard of an override for my MSD, but that's all I have so far, I'm totally lost.

Have you checked the water pump? Assuming it's not leaking, you can replace the Opti-Spark with a Delteq ignition system (but it's not cheap!).

http://delteq.com/

Good luck!

The Delteq ignition system looks like a COOL answer IF you have the $$$$.

The only problem with Delteq is you still need a working opti-spark installed

Other threads refer to a mod ala later OptiSparks, which reduces its vulnerability to water.

My car is fun in the rain now that my wipers are properly adjusted.

$ isn't a problem, and my optispark still works, but it's all on an MSD 6plus. Tell me more about the delteq, please...

Please tell me how. I can adjust my wipers perfectly and as soon as I turn them on at any speed of 80MPH the drivers side goes off of the windshield and tries to self destruct.
