Default C1 / C2 / C3 Project GROUP PHOTO

Ladies and Germs,

Isn't it time we assembled as many of our major project cars as possible for a C1 / C2 / C3 Project Group Photo?

There are two obvious locations for these photos -- CruiseFest 2005 in Bowling Green and Carlisle. Let's do both.

Since I intend to be in both places this year, I'm hoping we can assemble as many as possible for photos in each location.

There are two things to consider:

1. Looking for major restoration (for originality) -or- custom designed C1 / C2 /C3 projects where a high percentage of the work was done by the current owner. The project may have involved body-off-the-frame, and performance (engine, suspension, etc.) updates, paint and interior, etc. or a drive for Top Flight, etc.

2. Looking for the best possible setting for the photo without buildings or other cars in the background.....in other words, scenic.

What say you?

*****************************************

Who's in for the Bowling Green photo (Jun. 9/10/11)?

Who's in for the Carlisle photo (Aug. 25/26/27)?

Bob,

I can take the Black 67 to BG easily as its just 4 hours away. As for Carlisle I will most likely have the yellow 67 but we shall see.

Don't think I'll be ready for Bowling Green in June, but I should be able to make it to Carlisle in Aug with the 64. I would be glad to meet all of you other "project" guys to compare notes and get in the photo.
After the frame repair, I've replaced every piece of rubber in the suspension. As of last weekend, it's finally a rolling chassis again. Just started the engine work to turn the 300 into a 365. If any money's left over before I put the body back on, it might get a 5 speed.
No body work this year. Body is pretty solid, but the paint is about a 10-15 footer. Maybe next year for that.
p.s. All work done by myself. (wanted to make sure I qualify )

If the weather is good and nothing major has fallen off I may try to make one or the other. It sounds like fun.

That'd be great Dave.

I'm not sure how to proceed on this as both events are some months away. I encourage more of you "project" guys to indicate that you're interested IF you attend one or both of the events. This could be a group photo for the ages.

Sitting here watching for more feedback.

Bob,

We plan to be in Carlisle with the 62 this year. We don't know where we will be but would like to hook up if at all possible.

Okay everyone. I'm going to unsticky this thread for now, but let's be sure to get back into this discussion in late April/early May in time for CruiseFest 2005 (June 9/10/11) in Bowling Green.More later.

Well I wanted to bring this thread back up as we are close to Carlilse. I am leaving on this Tuesday morning so my kids can spend some time in Hershey Park.

My cell number is 845-721-6768 I still dont know where I am in on the funfeild but as soon as I find out i will post it here. I will have a note pad in the 62 in the package tray just reach in and it will say where I am and what time I will be back. Also please take the time to honestly comment on what should be changed on the car.
