Default Door Pull color? for Tuxedo interior

Can anybody tell me the correct color for the door pulls on a 65' tuxedo interior?

Is it black or white?

I appreciate any help.

Thanks,
Bonll

Default Door Pulls 1965

Hi!

The NCRS 65 JG states that the pulls are color coded the same as your door panels. My 65 has original chrome pulls.

Hello: Your 65' door pulls were colored the same as the door panel.
The 66' models were chrome. Bottom line...... your tuxedo black
interior should have black door pulls.

Some late 65's came with Chrome Pulls as the 66's. Nolan Adams C-2 book, pg 255.

Thanks for the clarification Ray. We could all benefit from reading
a few of these books from cover to cover. That's one thing about
vette ownership, there's so many minute details to each of the older
years. Keith

Hi! Keith

I wouldn't have known that information if I wasn't researching for the correct parts for my April 1965 car. I thought that they were colored coordinated also and was ready to purchase a different set. Another small piece of information, I was looking for the correct intake, all the books list #3844457 as the intake for the base 250HP engine. The NCRS tech guide also lists intake, #3844457 as the correct intake and #3866922 as an acceptable alternate. After searching for over 3 years, I am convinced that #3844457 was last used in 1964 production and possibly a few made it into early 65 production.

Hello Ray: Information such as yours once again confirms
my admiration for NCRS judges on the C1 and C2
models. This is part of the fun of the hobby. I know
many people blindly purchase these cars without doing
their homework. I've got all of you CAC forum people
to rely on for solid information.

Ummm...
I have white door panels? I've seen another vette (66) with a tuxedo interior & he had white panels as well (with the chrome door pulls).

Do we both have the incorrect panels?

Are the seats the only thing white on a tuxedo?
