C1 Questions about convertible deck lid hole
Ok so I am doing my inventory of what else I need for the car, on the convertable deck lid there are 4 holes 2 on each side.attached is a photo facing towards the rear of the car on the pasenger side. I know what the big oval like hole is but what is the tiny hole for.

Larry,
Those small holes are for the hard top attaching hardware. I'll bet you wish you had filled those now, I know that I do! I left mine in the lid, but now have decided that I am never going to put a hardtop on mine, so I will just live with the nuts showing.
Regards, John McGraw

like john said at this point you might just want to get the hardtop mounting hardware not that expensive and easier than a lid repair and repaint Steve
