Default C1-Here are some pics of my paint job as promised

Tight quarters for taking photos but here they are. The pics don't do the color justice. Seems like Roman Red always looks a bit orange on a computer screen. I will probably try to take some shots outside if the weather improves over the next few days as the color seems more accurate in daylight.

Look great. It looks real red on my computer screen.

Like I always say nothing like seeing a car in color to get a restoration back into high gear,Nothings better then getting all that shiny chrome back on the car to show off its new paint job.

GREAT JOB!

I bet you never thought you could do it huh

Larry I was really anxious about doing the paint. The technology has changed so much since the last time I painted. I'm glad I started out with small parts first to practice my technique. Overall I am very happy with the results, surprised but happy.

I used an extreme high build primer called Slick Sand by Evercoat and blocked it out. Then I used a Dupont/Nason urethane sealer called Select Seal and top coated with Nason Ful-thane single stage urethane. Seemed pretty easy to work with. I also had allot of great help from this forum to get me through it.
