Default My Corvette gets even

I've been looking for a replacement for my 1997 blazer and found a chevy equinox that I thought would make a good replacement, however being low on funds I decided to see how much they would give me for my 1987 z51 corvette towards trade in. On the way down the yard to get the vette out of the garage I slipped on the ice and broke my leg and ripped some ligements and have to have surgery monday!! I think I will keep the vette and just repair the blazer for now.(I wrote this in case the vette is reading this). What do you guys think?

I think it is an omen!!! In the meantime I know of a great site for you to check out for your leg. I broke my leg quite severly 3 years ago and found this site to be a godsend for info and support. The site is www.mybrokenleg.com. There is a discussion board and a chat board. The discussion side is for questions and answers and the chat side is for fun chats. I hope to see you there!

Kris

Hope you heal fast bigel. Next time you think about getting rid of that vette you better unhook it's computer before you get that far.
Is it possible that these vettes have more power than we think? Sure seems like since I bought mine things have been going very smoothly around here. Just bought it in June and was thinking maybe upgrading,,,, got this sudden pain in my back side. Maybe I better think more about adding then replacing ? We have ice here and I can't afford to have a broken leg right now.

Walk carefully everyone . Happy New Year

Bad luck to start the New Year, ...didn't you eat a portion of Black Eyed Peas on NYE??? Besides, your Corvette did you a larger favor than you realize. You really don't want an Equinox. It has the 3.4L engine, BAD NEWS motor!!

I try to watch what I say around the vette. It seems as if it might have a mind of it's own some times. In the mean time I try to be nice, because repairs cost money and cruisin time. Although I think it was fate, you didn't really want to sell the vette did you.

All the best with that leg.

Craig

Which bone did you break?

My best friend is an Orthopedic Motor Head with a serious SBC complex and is now stationed in Newport. I am sure that he will be happy to recommend an R&R program to get you back in the driver’s seat ASAP.

Do not feel too bad… I tried to cut my left social finger off with a angle grinder on new years day.
