Default Wait till you guys see this C1/C5

So I just got my March Corvette Enthusiast magazine,(boy I love this mag) anyways there is a 2001 C5 with a special body on it to look like a 1962 vette.
Now I have seen the body that looked lke a 53,and I fealt they just did not hit the mark,

This company has it PERFECT.

Here is a link to there web site

http://www.crcoachworks.com/

I will try and contact them this week to get some information,Boy would I love to do that to my wifes C5.

I saw one at Carlisle last summer. They are pretty neat. I also saw a 1967 fastback, that was rebodied with new instrumentation, etc. It was a droolfest.

But they stole 67's website title "Rebirth of a Legend" and that's just wrong!!

I must say, I greatly prefer this over the 1953/C5 kit which made the rounds.

Larry, wow! Yesterdays classic lines with todays technology. The modern interior, windshield, seats, steering wheel, gauges etc., not to mention drive train and suspension, blended with a classic design... very well done.

The guy who made this is a member of my club, Classical Glass Corvette Club of Tacoma, WA. He brought the car to the last meeting for sort of a "private" showing and we all stood around (8 deep!) with tongues hanging out! This is one sweet ride and looks much better in person.

They have had the cars to different shows and from what they said at the meeting, they have a bunch of orders for the car and some customers have plunked down cash up front!!

I didn't see the pricing either, although I'm afraid to ask.

It looks great. Would love to have one.

I was just slobbering, I mean, looking at these pictures again and thinking to myself... "I wonder what Zora would think?" and I concluded Zora would approve. After, foremost, Zora was a car-guy.

I just re-read the article

AS QUOTED
"Carolyn explained the program,Prices for the CRC will start in the mid-$40,000 range over the price of a donor car"

This thing is too cool,it has a tilt nose on it that is sectioned at the top of the cove line. Looks like alot of engineering went into the design.I am just wondering if it had a painted cove would that shorten the look of the car or elongate it.

If I had seen this car 2 years ago I never would have started the 62 I am building now.

When this thing show up at carlilse (if it shows up) It will be the show stoper

Imagine if this was the C6 ,I fore sure would of had one allready (the guy who sold me my wifes C5 keeps calling to upgrade our C5 to a C6
