Reset oil monitor

My first oil change is coming up - how do I reset the oil monitor system?

Key on, don't start engine, pump gas 3 times. You will see the counter go back to 0%.

Alternately, you can do this:

Press the TRIP button on the DIC repeatedly until it displays the oil life remaining. Then press the RESET button until it goes back to 100%.

Think im down to about 20% life on the new C5

Does this mean you're going to DIY? You should, at least once, just to be able to say that you can
