Default long tube headers x-pipe borla problems?

I'm looking at LG long tube headers, high flo cats, x pipe and borla, the whole deal on the exhaust side, and at least a Blackwing on the front. Though I seem to read mostly positive things, I've seen a few bad comments about possible re-programming bugs, throwing codes, etc. after reprogramming, and possibly surrounding the O2 sensors or otherwise.
Is this much work more trouble than it's worth? Is it safer to just go from factory cats back?
And on the Blackwing, I've heard maybe some problems with wet conditions, I try not to drive in rain to much, but any comments on that would be appreciated as well.
thanks
