Default Concept One CHROME brakes??

Hello... Has anyone tried these Concept One Chrome Plated Rotors? Will the Chrome last?
http://www.ecklers.com/product.asp?p...3U3HCVG6CA7VAF

or these Baer Eradispeed rotors?

I can't afford these titanium brakes but they're worth a mention:

Hey Terry,
Maybe someone with first hand knowledge will step in, but here is what I recall on a few of those.

The Chrome ones seem to be a bit high on the "bling factor" best I can remember.
Saw a set of chromed rims with the chromed rotors and calipers.. it was too much and all just mushed together. had no definition.

I hear good things on the eradispeed brakes. Only thing to consider with drilled and slotted rotors: They will shave your standard brake pads and create more brake dust.
If you go drilled/slotted, get ceramic pads. Cuts way back on the dust.
(to the forum, how about going with dimpled instead? does that give a benefit over the drilled?

I think the titanium set is just not cost effective, but like that you included em in your search!

Rain, I have asked those people if they still like their sportbrakes. So far so good. Maybe you and I can get a package deal? ;-)

haha
well, my factory rotors are ok for now.. would like to upgrade them but hard to justify it right now.

(of course my airbox was just fine but I've ordered a new airbridge and Vortex Rammer)
hahahahaha

Might have the cash in late January!

Rain... I finally installed the Sportbrakes rotors and painted the stock calipers red. Very pleased. Ended up pretty much painting the entire rotors black because I needed to get paint in the slots. The black paint where the calipers grip is almost entirely burnt off after a dozen miles.

We lightly sanded off the paint where the words "Corvette" are. Looks great.

Congrats Terry - who helped ya get em on there? Any problems in doing that?
I painted nearly all of my stock rotors black from the hats to the edges and yes, the paint wears right off where the pad travels.
I still need to clean em really good and hit em with a shot of clear some day.

thanks for the update
Rain

My next door neighbor did most of the work. He's got aircraft mechanic training and tears his Harley down about once a month. Most of the time was spent waiting for the caliper's red paint to dry.

I still have alot of red paint and clear coat left over.

I don't have a digital camera. Perhaps my girlfriend can take some pics.

Thanks Rain!

Sorry I didn't post any pics of my gf, she'd kill me.
So far I am very happy and I'd recomend "Sportbrakes".... I think I paid #249.00 for all four rotors and I know the shipping was free once I mentioned "Corvette Action Center."

Sounds Great - and I understand about the GF.
Maybe you can bring her by a gig sometime!

I will bring Amber by for sure. I see you're out of town with gigs all this weekend. Give me a gentle reminder (a smack across the forehead) next time you have a local show and I will get her away from her studies.
