Default painting bellhousing and differentail

Has anyone painted there belhousing? DOes anyone know what temperature they reach? I would like to paint mine black.

mines painted VHT chevy (hemi? hahahahaha) orange........doesnt get too warm....it does get warm but not like headers.........
