Default altenator for a/c car

I have a 61 amp alt. on my 65 a/c car. Is there a higher output alt. for the a/c cars. I'm having problems with it not putting out enough power with every thing running at highway speeds. I also have the twin elec. fans that only run when a/c is on. Thanks for any help.

Thanks for the reply. Thats probably the best way to go. If I can't find the adapter locally I'll give them a call.

kenbrunomotorsports.com can boost your original unit up to 80 amps. You may go this route and keep things original. That should give you another 20 amps. Do your fans pull more than 20 amps?? Kurt
