Engine Tliming for 1966 327/300hp Auto Trans

Wlhat is the correct ignition timing (initial timing advance) for this engine/transmission combination? I've got two different aftermarket books that show two different timings. One even shows that the 300 hp engine is timed differently with an automatic transmission than with a manual. (This is for the non-air injected engine, assuming there was one in 1966).

Any knowledge out there, I'm sure it's in the owner's manual that I have, but these things sometimes get superceded by later data put out by GM to correct specific problems as they arise.

I don't have '66 data, but the '67 327/300hp number (owner's manual and '67 Shop Manual agree) is 6* BTDC (same for manual and Powerglide). With A.I.R., it's 4* ATDC with Powerglide and the #1111117 distributor.
