Default eek... a mouse!

Someone on another forum brought up the subject of mice and I thought it was perfect timing and I hadn't seen it mentioned here this fall so I thought I would post my experience with these critters and refresh your memory on what cute little mice can do to your stored Vette.

When I disassembled my 61 that the previous owner had stored for 15 years I found mice nests throughout the car. In the exhaust, in the seats, in the frame rails, in the heater box, in nooks and crannies throughout the fiberglass body, etc, The seat material was chewed up and used elsewhere in the car to make nests. When I had my frame repaired in two different rust out areas the welders said they had found nests in both spots. Keep those critters in check. They can raise heck with your stored car.

I'd rather have a "rat" in my vette then a "mouse".

Of course I'm building a new, stroker "mouse", but oh well. I'm sure 67 heaven likes the "rat" in his.
