Default POR - Strip

Has anyone used the POR-Strip. Its supposed to be safe on fibreglass.

I've not used POR strip, but I've used Captain D's spra n strip successfully on a couple of cars.

The captains stripper is good stuff but dont buy it from a corvette retailer, buy it from the manufactuer.Halon marketing is the ones who bought it from captain lee a few years ago.Corvette retailers buy it in bulk and sometimes you get the last of the bulk which has been sitting in a hot warehouse for months and its no good anymore, happened to me dont let it happen to you.

Captain Lees,Leon from Tn owned it and sold it to Saul from Halon Marketing.
Saul did have a few problems with the mixture at the begining and has now solved it. It has a shelf life of about a year then it will crystalize.
If it doesn't work ok for you try adding a little Ammonia(pure white) can be bought at WalMart for a buck or two for a gallon mix a few ounces in a gallon of stripper.I know Mr Leon and Mr Saul and have used this product for many years one of the best things is "cold" water deactivates the process(stripping).
Leon was a chemical engineer and is a really great guy he now works for Hemmings.
I use several gallons a month and thats all I'll use.
