I'm wondering which paint to use? and prep. I'm looking at corvette America and Eastwoods product. worried about peeling and being too shiney

I used the Eckler interior paint when redoing my blue interior. It looked and worked great.

You might check your local auto parts or WalMart. I bought the Dupli Color interior paint or I think they call it vinyl and fabric paint. The price is around 3 or 4 bucks which beats the heck out of the corvette suppliers price plus, no shipping.

Funny you say so. I'm sitting at my buddy's shop now and he just finished using the vinyl die in a can on some interior trim. It looks excellent. He said he has used it on all kinds of interior parts and has never had any problems. The peices, in my opinion, look just like they came that color (not too shiny, etc.). I would definitely use it if I ever needed too. He said there's no reason to buy the expensive stuff.

I have used both and find that the Duli Color from Wal Mart works just as good is easier to get and cost less.
