Well, I'm no scientist but I've been using it for two years and no problems yet. But, I'll qualify that by saying that it's put on, brushed, and rinsed off.
Here are some portions of text on the bottle:
"Contains 2-butoxyethanol, alkaline builders and detergents. Biodegradeable cleaning agents - no acid or bleach."
"Not recommended for use on glass, aluminum, varnished or painted surfaces. Do not allow to dry. Do not mix with bleach or other chemicals"
Uses: "countertops, floors, greasy stoves, range hoods, refrigeraters, soap scum, sinks, laundry pre-wash, microwave ovens, nicotine stains, bathrooms, carpets, toilets, garbage cans, tub & tile, vinyl siding, grills, patio furniture, boats, tires, lawn & garden equipment, greasy engines, recreational equipment, driveways, golf clubs, filters, deck wash"
It's made by: ChemPro, Inc.
