Since these have been floating around the web the last couple of weeks, I thought I'd post them here.

What do you think?

Me too!!! I LOVE that! One thing I didn't like about the C5 Z06 was the sawed-off rear window. Please don't be mad Z06ers! One thing I love about the 'vette is the big rear window in the coupes. With that big window on the C6 Z06, I think I've died and gone to heaven!

I hope they look like that in real life.

have not been reading up on the gossip of the hp of the Z06 C6, but some members of my local Vette club were at Carlilse and the most they could get from the GM staff was 500 "and then some"

Anyone know for certain?

I think there is going to be more of a difference. That is basically a C6 with some stuff tacked on. Im expective some different sheetmetal (or plastic anyway). We will see. I like the way the window is chopped in back though. Very C2

Wow, Rob. Thanks for the pics...now if only they'd put a split down the rear window of that Z06, us mid-year fan-atics could be happy, too. (just kidding, but don't it look like it begs to have one?)

I like the front... don't like the back. But the back of the C6 hasn't grown on me yet either. Give it time...

Rob, Thanks for the pics. I like the fastback glass and the fender flares. I do not like the front intake, nor do I like the part of the rear glass that is covered up, or body color. I hope that is not what it is going to look like. Disappointed here. I love C6 so they are going to have to impress me with C6 Z06. I believe I have read on here that Dave Hill said that we would easily be able to tell the difference between C6 and C6 Z06.

Interesting feedback from everyone.

In my opinion, I guess I'll just remain patient and wait to see what the real thing looks like when it's unveiled in January.

My only hope/wish is that it doesn't look like a C6 that had some...."stuff" slapped on to it in the same fashion as aftermarket modifiers do to their cars. Hopefully, the differences will be well integrated into the style/shape of the base C6 and unique and distinctive enough to make it stand out from the crowd.

I'd like it to look at little more muscular/exotic, but not to subtle.

"....smooth, yet fruity and refreshing...slightly sweet with just a hint of nuttiness...."

Sounds like I just concocted a good advertisement for wine.

I have to agree Rob. The current Z06 worked with the different body style to help differentiate. If they stay with the current fastback glass of the base C6 I would like to see more to differentiate the car.

The rims seem to be accurate based on spy shots. It looks like they use different rear scoops on each pic. I assume it is the same person doing both pictures.

Flares would seem to be correct as well.

Leon

I'm with MsSchroder, I like the design a lot, but the backend still gives me heartburn. So did the C5 but it grew on me and so I think the new C6 will do that also.

What I'd like to see is the backend designed similar to the rearend of the late C3's but I doubt that will happen since MOST cars today have a higher backend design. Probably due to safety concerns- what with the large SUV's out there and rearend collisions.

Sully.

These sketches/shots are a major improvement on the C6. I especially like the way the flared fenders and bigger wheels and tires give the car an altogether hunkered down look, and I also like the scoop on the hood, and the more extreme treatment of the side. In sum, the car looks altogether meaner, more American and definately more like the hot rod look of the C2s and C3s. Someone must have taken to heart all the complaints about the delicate and refined look of the C6. This looks more like the Corvettes you used to sketch in study hall while you waited for the end of the school day. "Old Europe" will probably hate it, which is good and the way it should be.

Don't like the vents in fornt of the rear wheels, or the vent on the hood looks too Toyota Celica for me. But the rest is pretty

Default C6 Z06?

Sorry, I finally got it the right size to post. Here's another possible Z06 pic. Looks like it could be a vert with a removable top. Don't remember where I found this but it sure is nice. Dennis
