Default headlight woes

my right side headlight when turned on goes 3/4 of the way up to expose the headlight, if i open my hood fully and turn on the headlight it engages fully

i replaced the gear and the grease with the 3 bushings and it still has the same problem

what should i do next besides taking a hammer to it

Mine did the same thing once and I found that the headlight cover, when going up, caught on a wire, letting it only go so far......

With the way the roll open it is possible you might have a connection problem. Perhaps the headlight has caught on a wire, and something could be just right. I had that problem once, I was cleaning and moved a harness, and sure enough. It took some time to fix. However if you have spent some time down there you should've already found that.

mine did the same. It was the thin metal silver frame around the head lamp..
mounting tab had broken off and you could not tell until the headlights were turned on that it was catching.

21$ at the dealership for the part I believe -

Not saying thats your problem.. but something to check

well after a couple of adjustments i found what my trouble was

the radiator coolant bootle line that clips on to the frame came off and was just enough to hit the headlight!!!
