Default 86 passenger window

I have been trying to put a passenger window into my 86 conv. and can't figure out how to get it in. There is a slot for the window stop but I can't seem to get the piece of metal to move to slide the window in. I have taken out all the bolts that I've seen but can't get it to move..H..E...L..P

Will be watching this thread closely.........Needing to replace the passenger regulator soon. The books make it seem so easy, but we all know........

Corky tells me that he got it installed.....he had to unbolt/remove the "piece of metal" ....and then it went right in.

Thanks, 3TT3V..........I'm still 'chicken'. Our local vette man said it's about a 2 hr. job for the regulator, so I'm all for letting him do it.
