Default power window relay

long story short, backed my 76 out of my basement since it was a nice day , l let down the windows to let it air out. after about 4 hours, I started it up to put it back inside, neither window would go up. I checked the 30 amp breaker in the fuse box, it is ok. the middle wire going to the relay, is hot, I assume the outside wires are left and right windows. When hooked up I have no power at the switches, which leads me to believe, it must be the relay. I have not be able to find a vendor to get a new one, checked Mid-America, Corvette Central, local body man, ( he gets old parts from a dealer), and NAPA (his parts are limited to Echlin?). Am I on the right track? and if so where can I get one? I have one more vendor to check, he loves old Vettes and carries a lot of parts that most do not keep in stock.

Try the 10 or 20 amp fuse under the dash. I think it is labeled Instruments or Gauges. Mine blew and the gauges went funny, the generator light came on and the windows quit working.
